A few conclusions after reading 200+ posts:

1)AMD may or may not have contributed to Intel's downturn in Europe. My guess is they did so in a big way.

2)Intel is Roadkill (in contrast to what Kumar says).

3)Kumar and Whittington (sp?) are roadkill. No comment needed here.

4)Blood is flowing in the streets. A few AMD faithful are about to jump out their windows (hope they're on the ground floor) if AMD doesn't say anything 9-22-00. I think they should realize that at some point for AMD to make real gains in marketshare, Intel would necessarily get pummeled. It could take awhile before the reality sets in that AMD is the reason Intel is not meeting expectations and not a slowdown or other excuse Intel can dream up. Once that reality sets in, then maybe AMD can finally start moving up again. Could still take some time, or might be soon.

5)Paul should be missing for awhile (man, the things you have to do to get rid of this guy), unless he concocts this miracle story that he shorted both Intel and AMD yesterday.

6)AMD may or may not have filled Monty's gap. I will be buying soon regardless.

7)TA and FA are the greatest, or not, or only individually.
Personally I think both have their good and bad points.

8)You Mr. Spryguy are the most unbelievable optimist I have ever seen.

9)The Book-to-Bill ratio looks pretty good.
