mike, I'm holding off buying on the first dip. It's likely the analysts will hype the stocks most vulnerable so that their brokerages can sell off positions. Isn't that what happens? Then a second wave of selling will bring on a second lower dip. At this point we don't know the magnitude of the problem and how much it will penetrate other sectors. There is always an over-reaction in situations like this, but I think there is more than meets the eye. I will be watching for a capitulation brought about by panic selling. This scenario could be wrong, but I haven't forgotten the pain experienced in April and May when I continued to buy on dips. I believe there is still a strong sentiment out there that says technology is way overvalued. This correction is necessary to bring those people back into the market.
