One step at a time. What do you think the impact of having the first National Security Advisor who is black and female will be, especially if she is obviously not merely an affirmative action hire? How about (and this is speculation) the first black Secretary of State? By the way, don't forget that Brown vs Topeka was essentially decided by Earl Warren, a Republican (from California), and that it was Dwight Eisenhower who enforced the entry of the students into Little Rock's Central High by the deployment of the National Guard. That the first black senator since Reconstruction, Edward Brooke, was a Republican from Massachusetts.........
