Thank you for your summary of your due diligence.

One can not help but mention that you did not include any ICs that SEMI carries. The growth of SEMI industry is mostly large integration of circuits. To project earnings and growth, one must go beyond transistors and diodes, into the meat of the business. Which is the growth projection of DSP, ASIC, and programmable devices, in addition to memory modules, and cpus.

Having said that, even most professional financial analysts are not comfortable in technology projections. On the other hand, distributor such as SEMI has a market share based on territorial penetration and account executives with a following, not so much that depends entirely on the future growth of devices. It is also some what limited by the overall economy.
