I don't know how patronizing we can get, since I wasn't striving to be patronizing. Since Bush never "kowtowed" to anyone, much less racists, I do not find your analysis of the situation impressive. I agree that a commitment to minorities begins with policies. I think that the policies of the Democratic Party are mostly wrong.

As has already been pointed out, "women" do not especially vote Democratic: it is mostly single women, especially black single women, who do so. Thus, they were covered sufficiently in the cursory analysis. As for being 2/3rds of the electorate, since Clinton could not manage 50% of the electorate, your 66% is largely bogus.

As I said, one step at a time. Maybe decades, maybe not.......
