Thanks for the tip Gus. Emailed the guru. Suggest others do the same. Real risks here, and there are always brokers making cold calls, but last spring's surge came largely after the Business Week article and was in tandem with an awful lot of other tech stocks.And of course large disparities between 52 week highs and lows are hardly unusual in tech stocks.
To equate Ampex's volatility with a penny stock boiler room operation is absurd.
