As you know, Wit Capital has entered into a strategic alliance with
E*TRADE. That alliance involves the conversion of Wit Capital
brokerage accounts to E*TRADE brokerage accounts. The Conversion Date
is currently expected to be September 30, 2000.
As a Wit Capital Account Holder, you should be aware of the following
dates concerning trading and your open orders at Wit Capital:
*4:00pm ET, 9/26/00 - Last day to place an order for stocks and mutual
funds at Wit Capital and the last day to place a trade online. All
unexecuted stock and mutual fund orders are cancelled.
*4:00pm ET, 9/28/00 - Last day to place an options order at Wit
Capital. All unexecuted options orders are cancelled.
Important: no open orders will be transferred from Wit Capital to
E*TRADE.
If your account is being transferred to E*TRADE as part of the Group
Conversion on September 30, 2000, you should be aware of the following
dates concerning trading at your new E*TRADE account:
*9/27/00 - First day to place an order for stocks and mutual funds at
E*TRADE.
*9/29/00 - First day to place an options order at E*TRADE.
