Well, as far as you showing safety for offshore drilling, I'm not seeing any yet... I see lame ass anecdotes that barnacles grow on hard surfaces and then the stretch across sever lightyears to the conclusion that since riggs are hard surfaces it is obvious that they should be allowed to drill wherever they want so that when they are finally obsolete they can be turned into Reefs. Again, I am not knowledgable enough to decide where I would be if I had the right to vote on the issue, but you're blanket 'offshore drilling creates better fishing and therefore is always good' bent is hardly persuasive IMO.. let alone that I should 'eat crow' on some topic that I never claimed any expertise... obviously you've got you're 'texas goggles' on... that's fine, but don't drag me into you're personal crusade.
