Check out the charts on Pcln and Room and tell me who you think has done better. I want to continue my picking on Bezos specifically. This is a ficticious quote: Analyst: "How are your investments doing?" Bezos: "For the last nine months we have been short PCLN and long ROOM" Analyst: "How many shares were you short and long repsectively and at what price point did you enter and exit these securities?" Bezos: "It varies. We took long positions in ROOM by scaling in and then exited by scaling out. We did the same with our short position in PCLN. I can't say for sure what the price points were. I can say that we know that it is better to be long a stock that is going up and to be short a stock that is going down. We anticipate large financial rewards doing that in the future."
