How does this:

"SAN JOSE, Calif., September 21, 2000 -- The North American-based manufacturers of semiconductor equipment reached another milestone in August 2000, posting average monthly bookings of more than $3 billion for the first time"

Translate to this?.........

From Reuters this morning:

"The (price) declines came as industry statistics released late on Thursday showed that North American-based makers of
semiconductor equipment saw bookings for new orders grow to $3 billion during August, in line with the muted
expectations of recent months."

Just what's going on here? And they wonder how conspiracy theories get started. Losing money and damn disgusted!

Regards,

Knip
