Bambs, Indeed the PC sector has been "marked for banishment" for while now. The simple facts of penetration, and commodity like treatment are coming to roost. However, I don't believe that the build out of the communications infrastructure is in any danger of slowing. The service providers still need to create differentiated service in order to compete and need to get more bandwidth to homes and business to deliver these services. For enterprises, they need to cost reduce in order to get a cost advantage over their competitors and will use the internet and b2b software and systems to accomplish this goal. The bottom line is that this is a sector/stock pickers market. THe mistake is assuming that something wrong with one tech sector means the entire tech market is going to slow down. I believe those that make such an assumption (and many do) will miss a big opportunity.
