Fonix Joins General Magic's Voice Ecosystem
Fonix TTS Available to General Magic Customers
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 2000--Fonix Corp. (OTCBB: FONX - news), a leading provider of human-user interface technology and voice solutions for wireless and mobile devices, Internet and telephony systems, and vehicle telematics Thursday announced the signing of an OEM agreement with leading voice application service provider General Magic Inc. (Nasdaq: GMGC - news).
Under the terms of the agreement, Fonix FAAST(TM) (Fonix Accelerated Applications Solutions Technology) unlimited vocabulary text-to-speech (TTS) technology will be available to General Magic customers as part of the award-winning magicTalk(TM) voice application platform.
