agree on yr comments on AMD vs. Intel, a company heading for real trouble. While diverting some (too much - or maybe too little??) focus from the PC market to Networking, Intel seem to have a problem in kicking off the Level Ones and Gigas to another home-run. Now add to that the recent softening in the Flash market: Last week´s 26+ weeks lead-time for 1Meg Flash is now down to a European inventory position from AMD and ST! Last Monday Motorola announced a 20% production cut-back at their Flensburg factory!! Reason: Lack of demand from customers waiting for a new generation of GPRS and even UTMS products...
