- If we are correct, that only means a price war in X86 microprocessors starting in 4Q2000. As if it ever wasn't war. Right now AMD's ASP's are HALF that of Intel's. When will the analysts ever figure out what that means. Question for the eighth grade class- GM sells its cars for an average of $40,000 each, while Ford sells its cars for an average of $20,000 each. GM and Ford are both increasing the number of cars they plan to sell. Does this mean that Ford will have to reduce prices? (Here Kumar shoots the teacher with a spitball.)
