Catholic archdiocese adds exorcist CHICAGO, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- The Catholic Archdiocese for Chicago has hired a
priest to devote his full time work to exorcism -- the centuries-old ritual
that casts the devil from the soul of a person. Church officials say an
increase in the number of spiritually troubled people made them think the
gesture was necessary.
