Dealster, today should be marked on the calendar massive volume on intense headline grabbing reversal techs were led to the woodshed by Daddy Intel the kids broke loose and KICKED SOME ASS then they screamed WE ARE RUNNING AWAY the world of technology has only 5% of its feet in the PC sandlots *** PC has become a commodity, and techdom is beginning to recognize the fact that it is not central to pushing the barriers of cutting edge technology any longer... the PC has become a bitplayer whose role is shrinking... the PC is important to be sure, but as a widespread popular tool... it is NOT central on the nextgen tech frontier Intel will in time return to the fold but they must get thru another sluggish month or so they have good growth in the network interface area they WILL have good growth in the wireless area I believe INTC will not be fully respected as a NazGeneral until it establishes reliable strong growth OUTSIDE the PC remember how DELL fell from grace 2 yrs ago after being a leader? same might be true for Intel unless & until it reaches outside the PC and beefed server arena as TommyV said, "portfolio managers must own some INTC" I agree with qualification: until expands beyond PC it dont pay to disagree with the Vster dont be fooled by my excitement, Glenda I am still often depressed and anxious as hell recovery will take many months of time, financially & emotionally I am a sensitive and vulnerable boy deep inside / Jim
