CatchMan, the PC area is the onliest tech sector with serious maturity
well, old circuit switched telephone carriers are also antiquated

I personally keep an ear to the ground for initial rumblings of pain coming from Cisco's land
but from all I hear, their core network business is strong in providing equipment linking webservers
sure, Juniper and even Extreme are eating away at their core
even their heavy investment in yesterday's fiberoptic (SONET) will keep them humming for another year or two

Texas Instruments just issued a statement after market that indicates strong earnings are revenues
this is key for its timing
TI is central to semiconductors, but outside PC
they are a monster in communications sector
this should enable repair of the nonPC chip areas

I believe Microsoft will not impress the market with their next earnings report
Millenium is doing ok, but not on fire
their monopoly is losing its lustre in PCdom

Dell could say anything here, dont matter
Intel and Micron have damaged this PC sector

Oracle already announced great earnings
perhaps a sinister spinster could create a soso story

Motorola is left, Apple too, not to mention IBM, HP

I seriously doubt we have any more bolts of negative thunder
but I am wrong a lot
one thing for sure
I am a jackass
about the only thing that hardly ever changes
