I understand your point and agree, but remember that Vantive now rolled into PeopleSoft's total product becomes more of a one-stop shop. Without the part that made them pongid, they wouldn't be one-stop. As I see PeopleSoft continuing its turn-around effort, I'm always reminded that Thomas Siebel said he was really glad Oracle didn't buy Vantive because the battle against Oracle would have been much more difficult than it has proven to be.
