Amati's sales rep in Texas told me the following speeds for the Allegro 820: 1.5, 2, 4, and 6Mbps downstream and 160, 192, 384, and 640Kbps, upstream. I understand the upstream rate is the Achilles heel for CAP. Distance depends on line condition and noise, two factors more disruptive for CAP than DMT.
