That's what I always thought, that these are emergency oil reserves for national security and defense... and not to manipulate market price... this will put the US in a position of weakness in any further negotiations with the oil producing nations... what an obvious populist attempt to be everybody's hero... the only problem is that it won't work.....<g> the guy must think we're all idiots..... GZ
