Maverick: Europeans were not pleased with the INTC "FBI chip" and I suspect were unforgiving of INTC's apparent disrespect for the European privacy rights by releasing the "FBI chip" in the first place...There really was quite a fuss kicked up around the issue of privacy invasion at the time...I'm certain that this fautpas by INTC has contributed to INTC's weakness in Europe.
