Mang,
Nokia has a nice glossary on their web site:

GSM Global System for Mobile Communications or GSM is the digital transmission technique widely adopted in Europe and supported in North America for PCS. GSM uses 900 MHz and 1800 MHz in Europe. In North America, GSM uses the 1900 MHz.

DualBand A wireless phone that is capable of operating on two frequency bands such as the 800 MHz digital band and the 1900 MHz digital PCS band.

So does Ericsson:

Triple mode A combined analog and digital mobile phone. Allows operation of the phone in the existing analog system frequency (8000MHz) and in both digital frequencies (800MHz and 1900 MHz).

Dual Band Dual band mobile phones can work on networks that operate on different frequency bands. This is useful if you move between areas covered by different networks.

Dual Mode Dual mode mobile phones work on more than one network (for example, digital and analog) - this is extremely useful if you want the advantages of a digital phone, but regularly visit areas where analog is the only service available.

GSM Global System of Mobile Communications, the most widely used digital mobile phone system. The GSM systems family also includes GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. There are different phases of roll-out for the GSM system and GSM phones are either phase 1 or phase 2 compliant.

GSM 1800 Also known as DCS 1800 or PCN , GSM 1800 is a digital network working on a frequency of 1800 MHz. It is used in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Australia.

GSM 1900 Also known as PCS 1900, GSM 1900 is a digital network working on a frequency of 1900 MHz. It is used in the US and Canada and is scheduled for parts of Latin America and Africa.

GSM 900 GSM 900, or just GSM, is the world's most widely used digital network and now operating in over 100 countries around the world, particularly in Europe and Asia Pacific.

FWIW...Alski
P.S. You have a wonderful research tool at your finger tips. It only takes a few minutes to find these things with any one of the wonderful search engines on the net. Or, maybe I misunderstood your question.
