They both have $10 M in the most recent Q
Corio is all ASP CPI is what? 0% ASP? 5% ASP? Do they have 1 ASP client? 2? People run to IR and ask all these questions for every other subject, how come no one has posted this information? I asked someone on the board and he said he would go check, I havent heard back.. it could be 100% teleconference.. so its not even comparable yet.
Corio grew more in 3 months (96.7%) than CPI did in 2 years. So after October lets get back to Corio
It will probably be $15M -$18M in revenue and CPI might hit $12M so the disparity will grow. So soon it will be double the size of CPI in revenue, and all of it ASP, and its worth $400 million ... and your comparing it to a teleconferencing company and saying the teleconferencing company that is "trying to move to ASP" should be worth twice.. I am laughing.
Keep dreaming with your $1 Billion. So far you have shown to be a great cheerleader and not much else in this *until now* useful discussion.
And I was responding to your "Goldman will take care of the value" First you are ASSUMING Goldman will even be the underwriter, I would be highly shocked if they get Morgan Stanly, Merrill, or Goldman to underwrite this "quality" of a technology IPO.
Even if GOLDMAN does come to be the savior, they took "care" of Corio too, brought it out at high valuation and within 2 months it lost most of its value... CPI would fare even worse because it can't even claim to be a pure play ASP company. Who the f*** is going to buy it? Ok wait, in early next year investors will be climbing all over each other for a piece of it... yeh right buddy. Please take off your cheerleading skirt and be realistic.
Disclosure: I am NOT touting Corio or US Interworking, I am trying to find comparables and be realistic. You didnt say anything about USIX in your analysis and its twice the size of CPI and growing twice as fast and a PURE ASP company and sits at $700 million valuation and your piddly CPI should be worht more??? Damn cheerleaders.
Last point: People keep saying on Yahoo that a year ago MZ was going to bring CPI public in 12-18 months.. well its 12 months+, so ever wonder why he hasn't done it? could it POSSIBLY be the Investment bankers say it won't fly in the IPO market?? No.. never. Investment bankers will take ANYTHING viable public especially in this environment.. they love the money they make off IPOs, its the golden goose, and anything of half ass quality they are trying to put out on the open market in this difficult environment. Westell needs money NOW, VoDSL is coming NOW, sales force expansion is needed NOW. You need to do the IPO and raise cash, but guess what.. looks like its not flying at this point. Maybe that 5th tier brokerage who gave CPI a $1 billion valuation will take it IPO. Get real cheerleader, get real.
