cAPSLOCK,

Your post is very misleading.

The reality is that every investor who purchased e.Digital on any day in 1999 has a very substantial profit on that entry point, far in excess of what the general market has provided during that same time period.

The stock is currently below its high for this year. But as PartyTime pointed out, the actual number of investments at that peak is quite small.

There have been a total of 184 trading days during 2000.

EDIG closed at prices over $16 on exactly four (that is only 2%) of those days.

In contrast, it has closed in the $3.33 to $7.50 range (50% below or above the latest closing price) on one hundred and sixteen days (a full 63% of the time).

So all long-term investors have made a lot of money and the vast majority of more recent investors are in a normal trading range (for an admittedly volatile stock) around their entry point.

Hardly the basis for saying that "a huge number of investors have already been scorched".
