This achievement, which accents Live365's enormous success, also marks a milestone in the development of wireless technology. Live365 is the largest Internet radio service provider (IRSP) with over 18,000 broadcasters now using its service. In just over a year, Live365 has not only exploded onto the Internet broadcasting scene, but has also worked its technological magic to explore new frontiers in wireless services.
"Through wireless delivery of streaming content, Live365 enables the Internet radio broadcaster to reach beyond the stationary computer, located in the den or office, and into the ubiquitous realm of Internet-enabled mobile wireless devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, and automobile stereos," explained Paul Cattrone, Director of Wireless Technology at Live365. "The future is global Internet radio broadcasting."
Live365 executives are demonstrating three wireless systems at the National Association of Broadcasters' Radio Conference in San Francisco, September 20-22.
