Comment: Of course there is a decline...Book to bill reached 1.46 in the first half, an unheard of level...Recent book-to-bill of 1.26 corroborates the decline...but historically, a book to bill ratio of 1.1 is considered outstanding...It's a perspective thing, but cutting to the chase, demand is still waaaay above levels of previous years...and as some here point out, the semi is the new economy with the Internet in its nascent stage of growth and China and India waiting to happen, major cycles are much, much less likely...No shortage of new applications and new markets for the semi on this radar screen!!!
