Does anyone know anything about this rumor which was published on an investment site (not a message board)? Friday's 30% price rise seems to be attributed to the rumor. September 22, 2000 12:44 ET Viatel Inc. (VYTL)$13. Rumor that the company will receive a major contract from (AOL). Both companies were unavailable for comment.
