Gas at the pump where I live is 1.65 a gallon. Six months or so ago it was near 1.85 a gallon. Please explain to me why this is a crisis and six months ago we couldn't rescind the 5 cent gas tax for fear of econimic calamity?

Releasing the emergency crude supply is a pathetic stunt, done solely for political reasons to help Al Gore. It just goes to show how panicked the Democrats are about the election coming up.

As I said before....I expect Al Gore to announce a free condominium on the beach in Florida to everyone over 55 before this election is finished.

Quite pathetic the way they will say or do anything in order to get elected. We may even see another wag-the-dog bombing mission against some factory in the desert before this is up.

Selling the white house, lying repeatedly, breaking into the Bush campaign, releasing America's emergency oil supply. Nothing is beyond the possibility of Democratic maneuvers. For the first time in fifty years they will be completely out of power in Washington. Their panic has yet to fully set in.

I say good riddance to them all! They made their bed by sleeping with Clinton/Gore/Gore/Clinton, (the most corrupt administration in our countries history).

Now, go lay in it for at least four years.
