Thanks for your kind and informative response. I talked with this fellow last evening and he told me he is "trying again" adding: "If I could stay dry for three years, I can do it again." I would appreciate your prayers for him.
Did you have an experience of a prolonged dry spell from alcohol and then succumb? If so, how hard was it to get back on the "straight and narrow?"
