Dealer: Excellent! There's a thread here on SI devoted to Covered Calls where Bolinger Band and RSI are the primary indicators used. The thread is called something like "Covered calls - a case study". The threadmaster is a guy named Herm Mathos (or something close to that), and he's developed a system he calls "WINS".

In a nut shell, he suggests selling a CC when the prices have been riding along the upper Bollinger Band, and have just fallen off, AND the RSI has just dropped below the 80 line.

Now, Herm likes to sell CCs that are a little ITM (In the money), to get a large premium, and he hopes to get called out.

He has an excellent thread, and I have the Bollinger Band RSI screen as one of my standard chart styles I use to evaluate stocks.
