LU Doug, "patience isn't so bad ... if you can live with it." I've been a good, patient boy since becoming a Lucent "investor" at 50 3/8 in late July. There's no doubt in my mind that this stock will reach 50 7/16 sometime before I die. That's patience, isn't it? Monday, however, I plan to be a very impetuous dog, unless the market's telling me to wait a day or two more. But this cat definitely signaled on Friday: siliconinvestor.com I'm still playing the 1/6/00 gap, which was never listed as a gap for reasons I've yet to understand: The tables still give a daily high for that day higher than the previous close, but I was all over it that day, and it was a true gap. The 7/20 regap has been wellllll overreacted to by now, IMHO -- it's been high Wall Street fashion for weeks now to rue the telecoms; to be sure,though, no margin will be employed in this particular purchase of equity.
