Hi Elmer, RE: "That's the mystery." But there's absolutely no mystery about:
Can semiconductor chips made for one country be shipped to another country?
This is fundamental semiconductor industry knowledge that is not knowledge specific to any chip company.
However, let me restate the question in another way to make it a bit clearer (I can see, looking back, that my question may not have been clear since it was too indirect), are semiconductor chips even manufactured for a specific country?
Let me restate the question even clearer, are chips in the semiconductor industry designed in such a way as to fulfill all country-specific, gov end-unit requirements so that there is no need to manufacture chips on a per country basis?
Possibly my original question wasn't clear, because it was too indirect? However, I think I've made the question pretty clear now. And this question is relatively basic to the semiconductor industry, and is not company specific. You know that, I know that. So I do not understand why you did not answer Pearly's question which is esentially the same question I am now asking, I know you criticized his English and said you'd answer the question if you understood what he was asking, however, his question was clear to me: restating it, can s/c chips be redirected for purchase between countries?
