OT: There are actually two distinct species that we refer to as "penguins" (a word of dutch origin I think), the ones from Antarctica are found nowhere else but Linux as far as I know.

The other species you refer to is closer to a puffin.

Oddly, I found this out when I was learning French since they have two distinct names: manchot ("one-armed") for the antarctic ones, pingouin for the others.
