VANCOUVER - Senco Sensors Inc. is pleased to report that Ford Motor Company and the UAW (Local 182) purchased 3,700 Senco CO alarms to provide a gift of safety to Ford's Livonia Transmission Plant workers.
Senco's premium Model One CO alarm was specially selected, by a committee of union and management employees at Ford's Livonia Transmission plant for its performance, functionality and features, to be distributed to plant employees at the 2000 Health & Education Fair.
"Being selected by the world's second largest car and truck manufacturer to provide CO safety to their employees was a real honor," said Tom Pocock, President of Senco Sensors Inc. "This Ford/UAW program is Senco's largest single day distribution of product in its history."
Senco representatives had the opportunity to attend the 2000 Health & Education Fair on August 23rd to answer questions and personally distribute 3,700 carbon monoxide alarms to Ford employees. The Company views this as a notable distribution in terms of volume and a solid example of the corporate market for CO alarms. It is a strong start to the fall season.
