NG, Any idea what the historical semiconductor production equipment indice average is? FWIW, a simple average of the semi equip B2B ratio for data extending back to Jan, '91 is 1.065. The ratio seems to be exhibiting wider swings over the latter part of the '90s. It also is very seasonal with the annual low point typically occurring in the Sept or Oct data months. The ratio is usually reported on or about the 21st of the following month. Monitor the AMAT thread if you are interested in this index. They usually have extensive discussion and analysis of the data after each new report. Dave
