Sonny ---Good Morning ---Well I finally made my mind up on who I will vote for this morning . I dislike having to harp on a subject such as oil but when it effects the economy and the nation the way it does it will have a big impact on my thought process .
I was watching Face the Nation this morning on TV ---they had Elliott Richardson ( Energy Secretary ) and Senator Chuck Hagel from Nebraska on the program . They talked a little about the oil release which is strictly political but I knew that was going to happen . Senator Hagel made Mr Richardson look like a complete incompetent because he really went into the lack of an energy policy for the future . Made comments such as their is now not an refinery in the New England area and that the administration in the last eight years has let thirty small refineries go out of business which has dramatically curb our ability to refined crude oil . He also talk a lot more about the future and how bad a situation we are in respect to energy and how their has been no viable plans put forward by the Administration to resolved this issue . Since Mr Gore is such a viable member that takes credit for the economy I assume that he has the same impact upon the energy policy of the US . Therefore I will vote for Bush ---not so much that he has put forward a better plan but it obvious that we headed down a disastrous path with what we presently doing . If government is going to handle certain issues such as energy they need to be forward looking instead of promising to spend something we have not receive yet ( budget surplus )

BEST WISHES
BILL
