And exactly why is that?? Bush's father was ambushed by the democratic congress and compromised to passing a tax increase, thus violating his "read my lips"... I personally think Bush Sr. was an exceptional leader, and certainly far less of a ultra conservative than was Ronald Reagan..... Personally, I'm more worried about Gore taking too much advice from his patron than I am about Bush family chats..... And I certainly worry about Gore taking advice from his political patron in Tennessee, Judge Lafon, his uncle...... I wonder why that story has been relegated to the back waters of the news... After all, it was investigated by a former producer for Mike Wallace of 60 minutes... Sounds pretty credible to me...... Especially since those seaplanes have been flying in there for years..... That's the problem.... prosperity has dulled our sense of outrage.... Do you really fear that the economy would have performed worse under GB Sr. than it did under Clinton?? Hardly... Regards, Ron
