1. No.
Why do you believe a known liar and pathological adulterer, over a Democratic judge who has nothing to gain by admitting the event took place?
2. Don't know. Probably because the woman has a stubborn, independent streak in her.
Then why should Al Gore force me via taxes to pay for her drugs when he seems unable to? Are you suggesting that everyone who refuses family assistance (no matter how wealthy) should default to us taxpayers as a financial escape goat? And why did Al Gore try and make us feel guilty about his mothers prescription drug prices?
3. Yes. Those on the high end of the wealth spectrum can take the moral high ground and decline benefits.
Then why do the Democrats favor across the board prescription drug benefits regardless of wealth? Are you suggesting wealthy people will give the money back after receiving the free prescription drugs??
4. Because it's more important to fix our public schools than to provide tax breaks.
No, what's more important is to educate our children. If that means public schools (as we know it) will one day dissappear, so be it. The goal is to educate our children at a cost that is reasonable, not protecting a monopolistic system at the expense of our children.
5. This is a "When did you stop beating your wife?" question. As such, no answer is required.
When someone lies as often as Al Goe lies, and invents his role in historical events over and over, it's a reasonable question. Why does he lie and make things up the way he does? Is that question too uncomfortable for you to answer?
6. Because it's a deep-rooted philosophical belief.
That's not an answer. Further, that philosophy should be re-examined and the assumptions challenged.
7. Because Social Security should not become intertwined with 401(k)'s. You will be singing a different song about Point No. 7 if Bush gets elected and we experience a significant economic downturn. Lest we forget, the economy is why we elected President Clinton in '92 after 12 years of record deficits and "cut taxes and spend" fiscally irresponsible GOP administrations.
More rhetoric nonsense which has been logically refuted here time-and-time again. The economy was already booming when Clinton took office. The only thing positive Clinton did was not fire Alan Greenspan.
Not trusting the American people with a portion of their own retirement money is simply wrong. If I participate for 40 years today in the social security system and die before my 65th birthday, my children and family receive nothing! The government takes it all. That's immoral and criminal.
Finally, in just the past few weeks the N.Y Times has had to offer multiple detractions regarding its reporting. They may have more resources than Drudge or Newsmax.com. But there journalistic integrity is pathetic. They're nothing more than mouth-pieces for Democratic polticians. And it's one of the main reasons their readership is in serious decline. Ditto to CBS, NBC, CNN and The Washington Post. |
