I think that even a decentralized losely coupled "web" of illegality can be stopped. We are not anonomous on the web. We all have IP's that can be traced and if folks are doing illegal things on the web they will be caught and they will be prosecuted. At least you'd better hope so or all your investments in tech will be gone. If we can not protect individual and corporate rights on the net - then companies like CSCO, CMRC, ARBA, MSFT, etc are DONE... and by the way - so is Napster. So, we'd better hope the game isn't over
