Under normal circumstances I say Gore's goose is cooked. I do reflect back on the head of our FBI resigning after the first few months of Clinton's first election. He then retired and was found face down in the lake at midnight at his summer place shortly afterwards. Clinton then nominated another FBI chief who after two days of interviews turned the job down. This same scenario was repeated again with another FBI man turning down the position after a face to face interview with Clinton. The 3rd guy took the job......and is now over the agency charged with this investigation! My conclusion; Gore skates free while pointing his finger at Bush accusing him of mean republican tricks.
