And how do you know for SURE what is right deep down? Very truthful and well intentioned men can do horrible things, either accidentally or on purpose, and very bad corrupt men can do great things- again either accidentally or on purpose.

You can make a guess about what is right- but you can never be sure. By the time history proves you right or wrong it's too late to do anything. Further, people can be looking ahead and come to a different conclusion than you do.
