Sharck, Why wouldn't there be a place like hell?? Not everyone can go to Heaven. Heaven is for those that accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and Lord, and Savior. Hell is the punishment for committing sins against mankind. As far as I know, all religions have both a place of reward, and a place of punishment. Should Christianity be any different?
Is any Christian trying to take away your freedom of speech?? If so, in what way?? Are you being threatened with incarceration, or physical harm, because of your speaking?? It is Christian that are losing their freedom of speech. With reluctance, I can see the point of banning prayer at school functions if it is required, and if school equipment is used in the process, but now, the anti-Christians are trying to stop spontaneous, individual, prayers at public functions. Someone can rant and rave that there is no God with impunity, but just let someone say a prayer to God, and he is ostracized. ~H~ |
