I've followed Pd/Pt for about 3 years (I could say the same for rare metals). It was the central banks perpetual selling of gold that caused me to look elsewhere for better market fundamentals (demand > supply). Its never been more evident that the company with a mineable resource of Pd (or Ta) will find themselves in an enviable position. Platexco is the PGM example of how it plays out - from discovery to takeover.

I guess the recent news on drilling and Tib's comparable geology to Lac des Iles has attracted some new buying. It should be interesting how this feeds on itself over the next while with a number of drill targets to be tested.
