Mr. Charters,

In a previous post it was indicated that Thomas Shrake had indicated the over burden at Occulto may contain gold eq. values of between .25 and .33 au/ton. " A significant amount of the overburden contains approximately between a quarter and a third of a gram of Au/ton. Some areas contain considerably higher amounts. As an open pit operation, this will definitely increase profitability considering the large tonnage of overburden involved. This type of mining operation will also make those holes that fell beneath the .11 oz cut-off recoverable, further increasing potential profitability."

What is your opinion on this ... is this potentially mineable as it must be removed to get to the 1 g/ton+ zones ... if yes, what would this calculate to in potential reserve figures, would Barrick calculate these potential reserves and would they be obligated to report them.

Thanks
