The next Intel will still be Intel. I don't yet see anyone who can succesfully compete with and outperform Intel. Intel even managed to catch up with the speed of RISC CPU's. You should look into another field of technology. For example in the ADSL networking field we don't yet have a clear leader. Or look at biotechnology (Agouron Pharma and Ligand Pharma are my two bets on future leaders). There are so many fields that new companys still have a chance to get big, but not when competing with Intel CPU's. I bought both Intel and AMD in january/february. Now I'm up 50% with Intel and down 30% with AMD. And I am really happy that I don't have any Cyrix shares.
