I sold my puts on ORCL shortly after the open and re-bought just before the close thinking the buying would dry up:( Other then that I am cash. I guess all in all I am just confused and looking for someone to point me towards the light:)

I know that many of the stocks that I track were down huge on huge volume early but then rose throughout the day on much lower volume. I don't think that our political move on oil will have anything other then a short term effect and I feel the same about the Euro.

I'm also of the feeling that crude is not the problem but the price of heating oil (I'm in a heating area) is. If OPEC opens the taps wide it will not effect heating oil this winter IMO. It is costing people 30+% more to drive to work right now then it did a year ago and now it appears it's going to cost them 45%+ more to heat their homes. Average income in my part of the state is 23,500 and a $600 raise in heating will have an effect on their disposable income don't let anyone kid you.

Question will be I think can we keep the appearance through the election (I think whomever wins will be handed a HUGE problem) or does it all fall apart before then.

I tend to get bearish when confused so take my ramblings with a grain of salt...;)
