Sharkey's looks at a beta Tyan A762 w/AMD 760 DDR He uses pc1600 and the results show equivalent performance to sdram pc133 (cas2)--some tests better, some worse. A couple exhibited impressive gains. Similar to anand's, there are no direct rambus/ddr comparisons. Overall, not bad, but once again the beta status of the mobo was emphasized at every turn. So still we wait for "real" performance numbers. The second week of Oct. may have several catalysts to get us back on the fast track. sharkyextreme.com
