sorenkg: I don't see the triangles you see. I see a down trend channel that had a breakout above to over 100, and then breakaway gaps to the downside, which still have not been filled, and now a horizontal trading range with lower limits of around 60 and higher limits near 83.

As far as the validity of triangels and breakouts, remember that the expected breakout direction is only a probably occurrence, and also that there are false breakouts sometimes. The more points or longer the pattern has, the more likely the pattern is valid...
