Digital Insight Activates Nation's First Chinese-Language Internet Banking Site

East West Bank Launches Site to Serve California Chinese-American Community

CALABASAS, Calif., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Insight(TM) Corp. (Nasdaq: DGIN) (www.digitalinsight.com), a leading eFinance company, announced today the completion and launch of the nation's first Chinese-language Internet banking website. Digital Insight created the site with East West Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: EWBC).

East West Bancorp is the parent company of East West Bank (www.eastwestbank.com), the fourth largest commercial bank headquartered in Southern California and one of the largest financial institutions in the nation focusing on the Chinese-American community.

As the nation's first English-Chinese dual-language version of AXIS(TM), the bilingual Internet banking service enables consumers to check balances, transfer money, access transaction history and pay bills online. The site retains the individual user's language preference, setting it to the correct language the next time the user logs in.

Because of Digital Insight's template-based architecture, the Company is able to provide its clients with multiple site design options, multiple languages, and access via multiple device types. Digital Insight already offers a dual Spanish-English version of AXIS Internet Banking, and plans to offer other languages as well.

John Dorman, chairman, president and CEO of Digital Insight said, "We feel it is a testament to the flexibility of our products and services that we are able to successfully implement even the most complex Internet banking sites such as East West Bank."

"This is a major milestone in the history of East West Bank, and an important achievement in our strategy to remain at the forefront of the Chinese-American banking market," said Dominic Ng, President and CEO. "Working with Digital Insight to create a Chinese Internet-based banking product, we have considerably expanded our reach to the Chinese community; not only here in California, but throughout the United States and Asia as well."
