Robert, I dont have the latest version of ms so I can't answer the first question. On the second question, I run a scan in q+ looking for high tight flags which returns stocks in a semi flat lining state after a runup. Trouble is you get a lot of buyouts too... try scanning for the close to be within x % of the min and max of the highs and lows over x days,,, bdog
